Ever wondered what would u do if you had the chance to name urself ??? I tried thinking but i didnt find a better name than my name . I dunno why i think my name is so perfect i couldnt have been named somethin better … and i think everyone would have the same feelings with their respective names 
. Ever wondered why u find pleasure in writing ur name at the back of ur note-books during a boring classs ?? Is it the name which gives u the pleasure or is it ur creativity ?? Just think .. keep thinking and i will also think abt it later and write a post on it

Wanted to write this post from the time i started this blog … but the want to write this post increased exponentially yesterday when i met my school friends ( Will write a post on it later 
) .To be precise i am a Hyderabadi from last 16 years … and i wud love to live in hyderabad for the rest of my life . I am in love with the culture , the language , the people , the food and everything else abt hyderabad .
I wud like to start with the food … the very first thing every IIITian whines about …. While in Hyderabad, one must make it a point to try out the famous cuisine the city has to offer.
The Hyderabadi Biryani … the biryani which is famous all over India … Just try it once u will love it ..
Haleem … It is usually prepared during the month of Ramzan and also during Marriages … usually prepared from Chicken meat but its also prepared with goats and camel’s meat . Recently ppl have started preparing Veg Haleem … so that vegans can taste this awesome dish .
The other non veg items :- Gil-e-Firdaus, Luqmi, Dum ka qimah, Muthhi Key Kebabs , Baghare Baigan , Nihari , Pathar Ka Ghosht, Dum Ka Murgh,Khagina and Katchi Biryani … Guys u gotta try out some of these … lets now go to Veg Dishes and Sweets
Mirchi Ka Saalan Basically its a curry made from green chillies … when combined with rumali roti makes a nice dinner .
Khubani ka Meetha is a sweet dish made from apricots . Its a common dish in muslim marriages .
Other Veg items :- Baghara baigan , Dahi Vada, Mirch-ka-sabu etc
Other Sweet items :- Double-ka-meetha (bread pudding), Gajar-ka-halwa (carrot sweet dish) etc.
No hyderabadi meal is complete without a Paan .
Hyderabad is also known for its irani chai .. you can find it in any of the the street side cafes where u can laze around and enjoy this famous beverage .
Next on my list is the Language … Hyderabadi
I shud say the thing which makes hyderabadi distinct from other South-Indian cities is the language spoken here .
Certain words which are typical of hyderabadi’s :-
Nakko (instead of Nahi in Traditional Urdu) =No
Hau (instead of Han in Traditional Urdu) =Yes
Kaiku (instead of Kyun in Traditional Urdu) =Why
Mereku (instead of Mujhe in Traditional Urdu) = For me
Tereku (instead of Tujhe in Traditional Urdu) =For you
Mye (instead of Mai in Traditional Urdu) =Me
Jatiyun (Jaati Hoon)= I’m going (female)
Aatiyun (Aati Hoon)= I’m coming (female)
Kartiyun (Karti Hoon)= I’m doing (female)
Bolinge (Bolangay)= They will sa
Karlinge (Karlangay)= We will do it
Jainge (Jayangay)= We will go
Aainge (Aayangay)= We will come
Thairinge (Theheraingay)= We will stay

Potte or Patte or Miyan or Bhai jaan or ustaad :- all refer to a boy … potte is used offensively , Patte , Ustaad , Bhai Jaan and Miyan are used to adress each other .
Potti or Chori or Ge and Aapa:- refer to a girl , potti and Chori is used offensively and Ge is used for ladies with whom you are familiar with and Aapa is used for sisters .
Lite le :- Take it lightly ..
I would also like to point out the distinctive style of dance and music played during marriages ( mostly in muslims ) .. its called the Marfa .. I just love to dance in marfa style with my friends during a marriage . The music is played usually with drums and vocals are an option .

Inspired from Shrikants posts … i thought of writing about my child hood memories
My Grandparents live in Karnataka .. in a small village called bhatkal which is near mysore . And i used to visit my grandparents during summer vacations ever year . It used to be lovely … i mean after a hectic week of writing exams whats better than cooling off in a village . All my cousins used to come there . By the way my Grandfather owns 25-30 coconut trees , some mango trees , two cashew nut trees and some other trees . My cousin sister used to love eating the cashew fruit , and i used to love climbing trees . We both used to go the tree and then she used to stand there and used to point at the fruits and i used to climb and pluck them . And then we used to walk for some 3-4 kms to the coast ( Arabian Sea ) and then used to eat those fruits . The fruit is very sweet but the main problem is that they are sticky and u get a itchy feelin on your tongue if u eat too many . Then after eating .. we used to head back home and there my grandmom used to shout at us for eating so many cashews . And then we were grounded till night . By the way a cashew looks like this :-
Well wanted to write many experiences at the start of the post but was able to write only one . I guess i am feeling sleepy .
